What do I do about a traffic ticket I received in Las Vegas?
In the event that you receive a ticket in Las Vegas, your ticket can be in one of two Court Systems: Las Vegas Municipal Court or Las Vegas Justice court. Generally, any ticket you receive, when the infraction occurs north of Sahara Ave. (The City of Las Vegas), will be processed by the Las Vegas Municipal Court. Any ticket, when the infraction occurs south of Sahara Ave. (Clark County), will be processed in Las Vegas Justice Court.

To obtain information concerning the citation pending in the Las Vegas Municipal Court, call the telephone number: (702)382-6878. It is best to have the Citation Number available, but they can look up the information on your citation with your personal information.
In the event your citation is in warrant, you can call the Warrant Department at: (702)229-2938. If you are a non-attorney, you will probably need to reveal your current address and employment information.

At this website you can obtain information regarding your citation and you can print a "Register of Actions" for each citation. This register will tell you the traffic offense, the date of the citation, and the amount that you need to pay.
